They told you it goes fast. They weren't wrong. Luckily, a camera shutter moves as fast as a blink.
You're in the thick of it right now. Not sleeping. Running on love and adrenaline and something you can't quite name. And even in the fog of it - maybe especially in the fog of it - you can already feel it changing. Moment to moment. Day to day.
Those tiny fingers. Those first sounds. The way they fit perfectly in one arm. You think you'll remember all of it. You won't. Not the way you want to.
That's what I'm here for.
My son is seven, turning eight this summer. He'll be taller than me before
I know it.
He used to fit in one arm.
One arm. I know what it is to look at your child and feel the years rushing through your fingers like water. I know what it is to reach for a memory and find it's already softened at the edges. I know what it is to wish you had more - more proof, more evidence, more frozen moments of who they were when they were so small the whole world hadn't found them yet.
I do this work because I know how fast it moves. And I want you to have something to hold onto when it does.
Stay home. Stay cozy.
That's the whole plan.
I come to you. You don't need to get up, get dressed, get out, or get it together. You need to be exactly where you are - on the couch, in bed, wrapped up in the haze of those first weeks - and I'll work around all of it.
No posing. No wrapping. No studio. Just your home, your baby, and the real, quiet, extraordinary beauty of these first days.
I shoot lifestyle newborn photos only - which means I'm documenting what's actually happening, not staging something that looks like it happened. The sleepy feeds. The way your partner holds them. The light coming through your bedroom window at 6am. The tiny details you're already scared of forgetting.
I recommend booking within the first month - the earlier the better, while everything is still so new and so small.

Buying this as a gift? They're too deep in it to book this for themselves. That's where you come in.
New parents are not sleeping. They are not thinking about photography. They are surviving, beautifully, one hour at a time. A newborn session is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give - not just for now, but for twenty years from now when those tiny days are a blur and these images are the only proof they existed exactly like this. They may not be excited when you tell them. They will never, ever regret it.
